Its that time of year and thanks to hubby I received a ticket for the show as an anniversary present….he knows what I like even after all this time. As usual some of the gardens were fantastic and others just daft, but it is cutting edge design I suppose. Here are some of my favs

Great pics Mageth...you lucky thing...getting to Chelsea, i was fortunate enough to be there 2006, got Alan T's autograph, had a wonderful day....Love the garden with the blue window shutters and door....ah well watching it on tv will have to do.....:>)

yes it was a great pressie and a lovely day out. the weather was good, not too hot but dry. Did have to elbow my way to the front to get the photos, more so for the small gardens as these are more traditional in style and I do think most people go to see them. the larger gardens are great if you have a few tens of thousands of pounds under the mattress. The best bit is in the marquee where you get to speak to the growers although I did have a discussion with a bloke from one of the larger garden centres who was obviously from the management side that went something like this.....
ME" is that plant tender? HIM(bending over and feeling the leaves) "yes it is kind of soft"!

Thanks Sanbaz and angie. Usually after the show the RHS posts more pics and planting details on its web site. S-I go with hubby but we usually split up and go and look at different things then meet again later for Pimms. Im sure your hubby could find something else to do in London ?
