A lovely day!

I seem to have had a CRAFT day!
Decided at short notice to go on a trip to Dundee & go ten-pin bowling with the VISOR Group ( a local charity/social group I’m part of) but wanted to paint my window boxes first as I want to plant them up & put them on the front of the shed. In the process of painting one I spilt the paint (Yep! Bob’s in the area!) on the step leading into the shed! It’s masonry paint so I just took the brush & painted the whole step! So now my step is a nice creamy colour & I like it so much, the rest of the slabs are now going to be (weather permitting) painted cream too!!
Then I went & got ready for my night out, & only when I’d left the house did I realise I’d lost my purse (in the house) & didn’t have time to look for it, so I walked the 2 1/2 miles into town in heels!! Big mistake!
After a fun evening & some dire bowling, I came back & realised I had no milk! Into the walking boots & back a mile to Asda! Came back, got my coffee & woke up!
Then my hedgehog came in while I was online & ate the cat food! Getting brave Iggle!
I’ve put him back out (with the food, yes, he’s getting spoilt) & I’m going out to the garden soon to just sit, since it’s a lovely warm night!
That is, if I can tear myself away from GoY!!

So did you get a chance to sit out? or were you kept rooted to your pc by annoying GoYers? Lol
By the way, you wouldn't want to sit out here tonight.... It's p***ing it down.

And here too :o(
Well Madperth you had plenty of exercise anyway. You probably needed a sit down.

Yep, I did get to sit out, but not for long, the clear skies made it get a bit chilly by the time I did go out, so I went for a wander down to the river & listened to the critters in the woods! Saw a little fox playing, so cute!
You're right, Hywel, I did, but the walk was nice, Smudge followed me & kept moaning at me til I came home tho! Mad cat!
I've walked miles today, not including the running about at the bowling!
Can't sleep cos I had chips & my stomach is objecting, I seem to be turning into a healthy eater by default!!

I wonder why I can't sleep . I haven't had chips. I think I'll have something to eat and maybe I;ll sleep then . It must have been wonderful to see the baby fox :o)

Yes it was amazing! There are deer too, but you have to go early in the morning. I'll have to start taking my camera with me. Well, I'm going to try to get some sleep, enjoy your supper, Hywel!

Thanks Donnah! I ended up going for another walk at 5am, gorgeous but very cold! Started to take some pics on my walk, but the camera batteries ran out! Once they're recharged (and mine!), I'll go back to the river, its another beautiful day (slightly chilly wind, but sunny) so I'll spare the time from the garden & have a wander.

hi madperth shouldnt laugh but hehehe, so amusing, sorry it all went pear shaped, we all have days like that from time to time, and how sweet having your very own little hedghog, seems like a cheeky chap helping his self to grub

Yep! That was a first! He'd already been fed! And there are enough slugs for him, I'm deliberately not doing anything about them! He seems quite young, & has taken to sitting behind plantpots & watching me rather than running off or curling up! even comes when the garden light's on now!

aww bless, well he must trust you, :o)

Oh to be able to go for a walk and not get soaked or pelted by flipping hail,or even better sit out at night without a jacket,,Madperth I like the sound of your garden and also like Sanbaz you made me chuckle.........

Happy to be of service, Lincslass! I did end up with a jacket on, & my feet got soaked, as my walking boots dont seem to be waterproof anymore. I've put up a tour of my early morning walk, if you fancy a wander along the banks of the Tay!
I dunno whether Iggle Piggle is starting to trust me or train me, Sanbaz! What do you mean pear-shaped? That's par for the course in my life!! I thought it wasn't a bad day!!!!!!!! 8~}}}
