When i went to my local garden centre yesterday they had opened a new concession …. a pet shop, this was stocked with wonderful things for most domestic indoor pets and stocked quite a lot of wild bird foods and feeders too.

I bought this bed which is a little tunnel (about 2’ long ) , they can walk in and curl up at the back or spread along it as they stretch out !
I wondered if both of my cats would use it but Maddie seems have bagged it for herself !!!!!
I think i’ll go back and get another for Millie !

This is Maddie in her new nest ….

How cute is this ??? :-))))

Don't let Phoebe see that bed!! She'll think she's hard done by & leave home!!
You're only in the next county!!

Oooops ...too late...there she goes with her suitcase!!! :o)

It's such a great idea! Did she go straight in, Louise? You'll definitely have to get one for poor Millie.

Spritz, firstly i had to rub it all over me and cover it with 'my' smell, then i showed her my hand inside and she was hooked !!!!!!

It rustles a bit which un-nerved her at first but she goes in there happily now without any prompting !

Initially she'll go in head first but i think she must get too hot because then she 'surfaces' and changes round so her face is getting fresh air ;-))

Yes ...it says ...I thought you loved me but Maddie has a wonderful bed & all I get is the window sill! I've been texting her lately & she says I can move in with her & share!!

There's a similar bed to yours in the loft cos she never used it! Short memories these kitters!!!

I want one of these;-) for me! Cats do love enclosed places don't they. My old Dunkel loved boxes bags anything like that and it was almost the death of her. In my first house we had an open fire. We used to buy bags of coal comprising three plastic bags in a thick paper bag and kept them near the fire. When the last plastic coal bag was to be thrown on the fire, instead of taking it out of the large paper bag, I would fold it over it and throw both on the fire. I had picked up the bag folded it over and was about to chuck it on when I realised it was my little black Dunkel inside, not coal! She lived for over 20 years so the experience didn't seem to harm her:-)

Dunkel's a very cute name Ba !

This has turned out to be THE BEST THING i've ever bought Maddie, she just loves it :-))))))))))))
