Beans in a Tent...

Well as most of us know its been a beggar today as regards the weather, I think the only thing missing has been the fog and ice on the pavements. I`ve been in and out like a yoyo, wearing a warm fleece and gloves. My beans were desperately in need of going out into the garden they were in danger of tangling around everything,( cannot find my proper canes anywhere so I`ve improvised at the moment, I ask you how on earth does one lose a load of large canes, they are in a safe place somewhere, lol,) I`ve planted them out and in view of our weather I thought I`d still give them some protection with a net, so I made them a tent…..

Still have some brocolli not done too bad, so will hopefully have some more next year, have to talk nice to my son and cadge a few more plants again

The bottom pond is doing well but no buds yet showing on the Iris..

Still these ones are doing well this year.

The bulbs have just about finished but plenty more taking their place..

Cut and grow lettuce doing well in trough near patio, so must plant up another one…

As you can see in the following pic, Harry has a new use for our water feature..

He couldn`t stay long as the hailstones drove him indoors as well, lol…

Lovely selection of plants doing well there, Sue.
And I spotted the Flower Pot Person :o)))

Very enterprising with the tent construction. Are you going to patent the idea ?
You could have your own stall next year at Malvern, selling those ;o)

Good idea to protect those veg plants, Lincs ... my OH puts the tall canes up in the garage roof space ... so no chance of me getting to them without his help! ... The Lettuce is looking great ... we cut our first leaves yesterday ... love the ever-so-relaxed Harry too! ... :o)
