Got up this morning to frost and sunshine and just new we had to go for a walk after a very inclement few days of weather ,so off we went with our daughter’s dog up into our local forest and it was beautiful so quiet & peaceful ( much nicer than the shops with all the Christmas madness and music ) took a few pictures with my phone camera forgot my best camera as I call it lol .they show where they have dug the furrows for replanting as so many tree have been cut down due to the disease attacking the japanese larch . they have put a new picnic bench which is in a lovely spot with a great view , the pictures showing a field of grass are just about a mile from our home and you can see our little town in the distance .came home feeling tired but happy and enjoyed a bowl of home made soup and the famous Lemonade Scones ! which I made yesterday just two left , what more could anyone want :-)

Lovely countryside. You'd never guess that Port Talbot was just over this hill! A grand walk for a chilly morning.(If you remember your hat and mittens!)

Thank you looking, Steragram you are quite right ,looking too the right of photo of the bench you can see all the way to Port Talbot and Swansea Bay it,s a view we never tire of looking at :-)
