Our private Beach !

Yesterday we went for a walk on the beach 25 mins by car from our home picked up Daughter’s dog ( I think you know by now he’s called Dan ) the beach was deserted the rain held for us to walk the length of the beach 3 miles there and back , Dan thoroughly enjoyed the sea ,got back to the car just as the rain started , home then for homemade cottage pie & green beans Christmas’s cake for afters’s what more could one want lol .
the rain continued for the rest of the day and we woke to more rain this morning We are considering building an arc :-) Happy New Year to all Goy member’s and happy gardening come RAIN !! or shine in 2013

Thanks Paulspond & Lizziebee Hywel we had about 1 hr of no rain this afternoon and now it's drizzling !! must be this valley i live in the rain cant get over the mountains so it drops it on us ok! when we want the garden's watered but not as continues as it as been but we are better off than some folk .

Thanks Lincslass, we had Dan,s ball with us but he soon found a piece of driftwood it,s funny when we walk in the forest he always finds a piece of wood and I say to him Dan that's to big it,s like a piece of firewood leave it and the grandchildren lol and the next piece he picks up they say to him what I had said which is so funny and lovely to hear :-) sunshine here today fab .

I love the solitude of walking on a beach. I miss that so much. I grew up just five minutes away from the beach and was on it every day rain/shine/wind/snow.
