What is the weather like where you are.
It is absolutely dreadful here in Dublin. Wet cold windy, I was looking a the weather forecast for next week, guess what, it is to be the same aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I am now looking on the net to see if there are any cheap breaks away somewhere hot. Or even better has any member got a spare room for a week or two who lives in a nice warm climate. I would be very handy to have around. I could do a bit of gardening, some small repair work, tell a few jokes, help you to finish off the booze you had left over from the last party. What do you think?

It's lovely here today, for a change. However it isn't going to last :(
It's the coldest and wettest summer I remember for many years.

Have you come across the Netweather website Johnjoe?
I have their storm radar app, very accurate to tell you whats happening,
and gosh Poor Ireland southwest Scotland and the lake district ....Wales at times too are all under a huge mass of wet weather,
I seemto remember seeing on the beeb the other day its come up from Florida ?

Hywel, it seems to me we are getting extremes , not just some warm weather or a shower but really hot/cold/wet , not normal British weather these days..

I don't mind Shirley, do you think the cat will be ok with that . My Irish wolfhound is very quite and well feed and does not snore. I did mention the wolfhound. Lol

Perhaps I could join you John. The weather in Scotland is the same. It was 11 degrees last Sunday!!! We have had so much rain the Roses are rotting before they flower. My sons live in London and I am fed up listening to them going on about how lovely the weather is.

Your more than welcome Linda. You wont mind the Irish wolfhound coming.

Yes, it's hot and sunny down here in the south, but everything is so dry. If we send some sun up north, can we have a bit of your rain for the gardens in exchange?

Down here in the south east, we have had a glorious day today. Nice yesterday too although last week was changeable and not as warm as it has been. We had two days of rain Friday and Sunday last weekend but virtually no other rain to speak of for weeks!
I have two spare rooms but no booze....sorry!!

Andrew, you can have as many buckets full of rain water you want. Lol

Thanks Paul. for your generous offer of your spare room. Today has picked up, it is now 16c and not looking bad for the rest of the week, so I can stay put with my fingers crossed.

Good decision.....it rained here this evening.I blame myself because I got fed up waiting for rain and put the sprinkler on the lawn for a few minutes! Typical. No sooner had I turned it off, the rain came!!

Yesterday we were promised heavy rain here in Bracknell but all we got was light showers. Today was supposed to be dry and what did we get - light showers. Hmmmm.

Not a cloud in sight Andrew. Weather forecast says it will be good for the rest of the week. I will take what they say with a grain of salt. Yesterday was the same, long may it last. Spent the last two days picking the apples of my Bramley tree. It is never ending, the crop is huge. At my age, I must be mad...
