in between lessons today i decided to go to the local garden centre and see what was new.
i found some ivy which was really cheap and a 4 pack of cycaman

I had some baskets at home

this is the result of my first attempt at making up a basket .
what do you think guys

~ you can tie a red ribbon bow on the handle and they will look the biz!
Yesterday in Wyevale they had a stand with nothing but large red Cyclamen in all sorts of red coloured pots and red poinsettia~ looked really Christmassy!

These look fab! My birthday's coming up soon and all I ask for every birthday is 'something for the garden'. I'd be sooooooo happy to get a basket like this. You've given me ideas for next Christmas - and it'll save money if I make my own rather than buy the overpriced ones in the garden centre.

Greenfingers, these can be made for all seasons, they look really sweet with spring flowers. Making them yourself can be lots of fun too!

Love the choice of Christmas colours in these - red and green - lovely, I'll have to remember this for next year. Wohlibuli has given me an idea for Easter baskets too!
