whoopee a warm sunny day!!! been out in the greenhouse busy planting and potting on! I’ve been inspired by all ur beautiful flower pics so thought i should grow some!! I’ll start with easy things! Planted sweet peas 4 different varieties (Terry Wogan, Daphne, Royal Wedding and Charlie’s Angels) i also scattered some seeds into the pansy beds at the front of the house these included cornflower, mixed butterfly flowers and a packet of flowers which i didn’t know i had starlight scentsation! The cosmos i planted are growing well in the greenhouse! Need to cut the whiskey barrels in half and paint them now all my seeds are planted!
I’ve also planted some more Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Lettuce (Little Gems, Pinnokio, Frisee and Mixed Salad Leaves) and Courgettes!
We have let the table chickens out into their run today but everytime i go to take a pic they run and hide so i’ll keep working on that! They are growing so fast! while i was out in the garden i had a little friend join me… a racing pigeon! I’ve called him Charlie!
so anyway flower suggestions are welcome! I have sent off for a free gardening pack out of the paper so I should be getting a collection of exotic lilies, trailing fuchsias, lobelia cascade, viola and petunias!! so exciting! Also ordered geraniums and impatiens! So i’ll be a bizzie bee…. when they arrive that is! The local TNT drivers all stop for eggs so i jump up and down with excitement thinking my flowers have arrived! oh the wait is agonising!!!

Been plagued by cabbage whites on my brassicas and in two minds whether to plant any this year, but I have a net tunnel so I might try that and maybe a larger netted frame for when they get too large
