Hemingway's Profile

I am a widow and moved to my present home a year after my husband died.
My front garden is small and consists of mostly schrubs,very easy to look after. The back is slightly larger with a lawn surrounded by raised beds on three sides. Clematis climb all the fences.
The first spring was really exciting because I had little idea what was going to come up. I wasn't disappointed. The bulbs were followed by bluebells then foxgloves and Campanula which were a riot of pastle shades.
I am not a knowledgable gardener but I gained my love of gardens from my late mother.
This garden is easy maintenance of which I am pleased because of my advancing years.
I get sun all day long in the back garden which is beautiful.
I couln't be more happy in this new place.
