Rainwashed garden

My thirsty garden had a much needed drink this morning. Soft spring rain left the garden refreshed and sparkling.

The plants enjoyed their drink of rain after all the used washing-up water I’ve been throwing down lately!

Raindrops glinted on the heucheras.

The pink buds on the crab apple are poised to open.

The ‘Little Beauty’ tulips were left a little squashed, but happy after the rain.

The potatoes are growing fast and need lots of water.

The Anemone Blanda was a bit bedraggled but opened its face to meet the sun.

Ours got a drop tonight as well... It does freshen everything up, I planted out some things earlier and the ground was really dry a full spades depth down and thats not good so early in the season, although I hope it waits until dark....Lovely photo`s........
