Veratrum maackii - 2016 (Veratrum maackii)

Plant for moist soil in shade, growing to around 3 feet tall. The flower is this limey green or dark red, occasionally a sort of orange (a mix of the two colours). The usual pleated leaves of a veratrum, and beloved of slugs of course.
