Hello Vincent. I wish I knew why The Crinum photo appeared next to the Veronicastrum! I expect it is one of those unwise key strokes or mouse clicks that are done from time to time. The garden picture section has been a mystery to me since I joined in June!!!!!!!!!!! I have only managed to successfully insert Veronicastrum into this section very soon after joining. That was by accident. I noticed there was a question asking how to delete a picture. The answer given does not work in this section. Although have deleted some pictures from my photos, no problem with that. I note that this is the erudite section, and such a mistake is an embarrassment to me. HEEEEEEELP!

I'm with you, Dmj, I still don't know how it works. Sometimes my photos go into 'plants' some into gardens. My first one was put in the wrong category as well. I asked the administrator but got no reply. (maybe it was'nt an administrator??)

This is really beautiful. How tall will it get?

I think ,in the ground, about 3 feet tall Gilli. I don't know about climate zones for hardiness. It forms a very large clump slowly over time. My brother dug one out for his new neighbour who wanted the space for her little lads to play ball games. It got dispersed from his allotment to about 12 people, including me. I have one in a big pot and one in the ground, growing slowly. It is having a battle with snails.
