Some of you may recall some images I posted of very large bulbs we found when we tidied one of our greenhouses. Two have bloomed and my OH is still puzzled as to what they are. They could be related to the Onion family possibly?

I am positive someone here will have the answer!

Have a look at images of Camassia leichtlinii alba ... not 100% certain though! It's a gorgeous flower ...

Thanks. We think you're right, Shirley, though our flowers, sadly, aren't "gorgeous" !

I have recently come across Albuca nelsonii bulbs and they are huge and frost tender. have a look at an image of them and see if they match. it looks pretty similar to me.
