Our Pond Again

As several people have commented on our pond I thought you might like to see a wider image of the area.

We now have artificial grass to its approach. Before it was just a “path” but we think the “grass” is better. The people who view our pond have been impressed with the idea of artificial grass. My Other Half wasn’t at all keen when I suggested covering an ugly concrete surface with it but when he saw the result he was convinced.

The pond area was next, (as I have posted quite a while ago), and it really has been a good idea there also. We use a rubber rake to remove leaves etc. I have heard of people Hoovering their lawns but we’re not going to do that :O)

It’s a tranquil area to sit and read. Now the massive laurel hedge is down we can see the horses and cows when they are set free on the heath. Deer are always a welcome sight there, but not so in the garden. We can now see the sunsets and some of them are spectacular!

I reckon one can get set in one’s ways and it’s good sometimes to try something different. Our garden is more or less settled but I’m the one who finds areas that could be changed! Unfortunately our age is beginning to show and we can do nothing about that!
