I’m not a lover of spiders but I have to admire their skill when it comes to creating works of art.
My Other Half took these images the other day. Overnight (?) the spiders seemed to have been busy as he found quite a few of these webs in the garden.
no funnel web this year.

They are so intricate. Really clever.
Read in the papers that house spiders are bigger this year and we have had one or two that bear that out. Next time I'll try and take an image!

They are indeed works of art, so precise too. I like going round the garden at first light when you see all the webs on shrubs with dewdrops on them glistening like jewels.

...or frosty mornings, Greenfinger. Opposite our gate is the Heath and when I see how many webs there are there I'm really glad spiders are small!
