right for the ‘coming weekend’ (‘Countryfile Forecast for the week ahead’ is more reliable ) – ’ Now, get on out there and start gardening.’ We dont have Bog Gardens !
Saturday 12.45 – it has just stopped raining.
Glad I have a balcony. The Rock Plants I put in the half
baskets are beginning to show signs of growth. Will ‘get
out there’ and snip last year’s growth off them.
At least its a start.

well last night it said our Sunday would be dry with some sun. the forecast at 10 am said rain all day Sunday. I will just open the curtains and see what it is doing then decide if I go in the garden or greenhouse. though after all the rain today it wont be worthwhile digging.

I got bored with the Hellebores yesterday. Monty bought
the derelict farmhouse with 2 acres of land, built it all up from there. It is really quite an achievement.
The Professor's garden in Sheffield he included was very interesting, lots of South African plants growing happily
together in England. Not a Dandelion or Bindweed in sight !

Hi Diane, I don't know about countryfile, but gardeners world is recorded at least a week before it's broadcast, so I imagine any forecast he's given, is for the week that we have just had, I don't watch it so I don't know what his forecast is, Derek.
