Did see it and managed to get some pics, boy it was cold whilst doing that, to be honest it didn't seem that different but must have been amazing in other parts of the world....

At work, my view out of the window is of a cricket pitch (although no longer used as such), with woods and a lake at the bottom. When I left the moon looked beautiful, bright and big (even though it was a bit cloudy) and it was reflected in the lake. It was quite enchanting. It didn't look red though as they were showing on the news.

This is super Dawnsaunt. Looking East at my place I see trees and when the moon finally was above them, the eclipse had already started, so it was very dark. It looked really red, like a sunset red, it was amazing, but not big or huge like yours. My pics are not good at all, but I can see how the earth's shadow was projected on the moon, from the right travelling to the left. It said sunrise for Perth 7.09pm but it took ages before we could see it, lol. Oh well, there are millions of other pics to see. Did you see the eclipse in the Northern Hemisphere?

We couldn't see it at first because of the clouds, but when I let Bella out at 4 a.m. the clouds had broken up. It was huge and I thought it looked eerie.

Great photo Dawn ! :)
