Its about time

I managed to get out into the garden again, I have been threatening to do so for quite a while.
OH has developed a cough which is driving me dotty, so this morning I left him in bed and went out into the garden, laundry hung out and then I potted on several plants that were showing signs of being pot bound. I take it that roots growing round the outside of a pot means they are pot bound?? LOL.
I then went into the front garden and wound our neighbours clematis through the fence and moved one of my clematis closer to the corner and put another one in. As I dug I weeded. Our soil is heavy clay, it looked dry on the top, put the spade in and you could make dinner plates with the clay.
After lunch and a rest for my back I went out again this time into the back and put in a climbing hydrangea and the bulbs from a pot of tete a tete I had in the house. Followed that up by watering in all the new plants. Since we had the outside tap put in watering has been so much easier.
We now have an almost full veg garden too. I need to sort out the greenhouse thats been in the shed for almost 9 months. Its just a plastic one, but it will do for now. I may well take it down in thw winter.
We have the tomato grow house as well against the house wall.

You've had a busy day Csarina, if your hubby is like mine then outside is most definitely the place to be when said person is having a coughing fit, keep up the good work but mainly enjoy yourself pottering around, you have both worked hard since you moved in and try not to catch his cough, lol,....
