Some more plants placed but we had workmen refurbishing the coal shed, replacing rotten boards and painting it with preservative.

Looks posh doesn’t it?

The trellis that DS2 put up yesterday with our neighbours permission. I need to sort out the clematis now and get them planted.

We have been left with the wood from a dog kennel DS2 broke up yesterday and also the wood that has been stripped from the coal shed. It will be chopped and used to light the fire in the sitting room.

The lilies in the front garden are almost all out now, I have cut 2 stems for the sitting room, the smell is glorious.

Tomorrow we will spend more time sorting out plants for the border and the clematis to go up the old clothes post
as well as the ones for the trellis.

DS2 dug out and replanted the two rhubarb crowns, he has split them up so we now have 5 crowns in the garden. I will force one crown in the spring.
