The new feeders seem to be working, we have not seen the squirrel(s) at all since yesterday morning. Plenty of birds at the feeders though.

A garden day yesterday. We were offered some perennials from freecycler yesterday so we went to collect them. It was a dull morning but by lunchtime the sun was blazing down.

We spent the afternoon putting the plants in, I split a large piece of Alchemilla into several pieces and put it in, Also split some Centuria into several bits, various other things also put in and delphinium and red and pink poppy seed sown. I also have a couple of plants in water to soak the soil off so I can get out the free grass that came with them. They will be going in possibly this afternoon.

OH is busy cutting out more grass to make wider, curved beds, I want to create a room effect 3/4 of the way up the garden using a big curve and tall plants/ bush.

Its quite cool this morning, we are promised the sun will come through later, but I am not hopeful…….however we will see.

I have made a vow not to spend any more money on plants, the bill is already horrendous and I need to recover from the expense of moving and buying a new camera!!

Cyril the squirrel has, no doubt, found an easy touch for feeding along the road!
Very chilly here this morning, as well!!

Thats good then, he'll no doubt have a few diners to visit so I doubt he'll starve, its quite cold here and very cloudy, been like it for all the weekend and yet not a drop of rain, now that to me is a waste, if its not giving us any rain then it might as well be sunny, lol..
It seems that the garden is coming along well, you have some good plants to put in, all old faithfuls, they'll do ok in your borders......
