Another Lovely Day

The sun is shining, its another lovely day, we are off in a few minutes to the Farmers Market in Melton.

Thank you to those of you who have sent messages about my eldest daughter. She is fine. After an MRI scan the consultant decided to do nothing right now. He is still not sure what the shadow is and has therefore said that 6 monthy mamograms and a yearly MRI scan for the next 2 years is the way to go. So we are all quite relieved. There is still slight worry but I am trying to push it to the back of my mind. My daughters paternal grandmother died from breast cancer.

OH has spent the last couple of mornings raking moss etc out of the grass, he is doing it in 3ft strips and getting 2 bucketfuls of rubbish from each. Yesterday we foubd the edge of the original border, the previous owner had put that green edging in, so we are following it round the garden. gradually edging it back to how it was, we are going to end up with some quite big borders which is great.

Glad to hear your daughter is OK, must have been such a worry!

You'll have fun I'm sure deciding what to plant in your newly enlarged borders!

Its easy to say try not to worry, but try anyway - hope she goes on OK.
When your OH has finished his moss raking do send him round to us if he has a month or two to spare!
What a rewarding job though, discovering how the garden started off.

I'm pleased to hear the news about your daughter. I hope everything will be all right in time. Such a worry for you.

It will be nice for you to have wide borders. Think of all those interesting plants you can fill them with :o)

I'm pleased for all of you, especially your daughter, it must have been a huge worry whilst waiting for the result, its good to have the checkups just to be sure.
OH is doing a grand job and I look forward to seeing your borders...
