Hi everyone
Back when the Snow was on the ground Jan/Feb I happened to go into our local Lidl Store and spotted a lot of potted Crysanthemums for sale at about £3.00 a pot they were not the usual multi heads but large incurved ones Six rooted cuttings each with one very nice flower,I could not resist. At home the flowers lasted over three weeks.then the pot was removed and placed in a cold glass house.i removed the flower leaving about thee inches of stem within a short while each piece started to sprout so I repotted six plants individualy, they have to date been repotted once more as they grow away.I lost one plant gnawed off at ground level squirrels.

Wonderful chrysanthemums but can you tell me what the green mesh is for? ? anti snail device ? I'm going through your old blogs to find the one on making troughs. I'm enjoying this a lot.
