Some of you will remember that early last summer I took eight cuttingsof R.Rose Bud having given previous ones away, seven rooted and six made it through the winter, two are more advanced than others, will show the two best ones.

The main plant is again full out in flower and pleases me a lot

Hope it cheers you up if Wednesday is as bad as forecast we will need it

Well done " Greenfingers " you have an a lovely selection of Rhoddies ... I remember being on holiday in Ireland one year up in the hills where Rhododendrons were growing ,a couple of people were going round taking cuttings about 1ft in length , we asked what they were doing they told us they buddled them up into packs of a dozen to sell ,I'm not at all sure if it was legal or not ......

Another success, really, really lovely.
Yes, it is still raining down in Devon. You can blame me because I wished for it and already I have had quite enough of it!! ? ☀️

Wonderful colour & so prolific. Those cuttings look good & strong too.
I'm so pleased we had all that rain - we really needed it. What was Weds forecast then as that's today & it's quite pleasant if a bit damp & the sun is trying to break thru.

It really is a lovely Rhododendron Brian. I've never tried to take cuttings from a Rhody. But then I've never wanted to propagate them. But you have a real knack for it :)

Beautiful shade of pink Brian and you certainly have a way with cuttings - those plants look really healthy - some rain here today in Shropshire but we have had a lovely sunset - hopefully a good gardening day tomorrow - Jane

Wednesday was as bad as forecast but with your lovely blog I can put it all behind me.
its been lovely today so we went for a bimble on the Bonneville instead of tackling all the weed seedlings.

I love rhoddies but my soil is too alkaline :o(
