Bought this a long time ago marked medium size shrub!
Its one of thoes plants that likes where it is and shows it pictures taken yesterday.

For the record it’s about twenty feet high and has been pruned

I wish I could grow magnolias. I have tried and failed miserably. That is a stunning tree.

Looking back at my pics I would stress that the branches catching the sunlight are not part of it that is a Chestnut tree not yet in leaf

Ah yes, still, it's pretty huge. Interestingly the RHS has it as 4-8m, which is quite a range, so some specimens must grow a lot taller than others...or I guess, it depends on where you live, in which case I should be ok! When I saw yours I thought I might have to move mine to the boundary, which I still might do while it is so small.

Lots of flowers on yours Bjs. I bought 'Leonard Messel' last year because of the pinkish flowers. It is still in the pot. I already have 2 white stellatas which were on the property when we moved in some years back. I hope that mine will do as well as yours.

I also have two white Stellata they are a few days later. M.Souleganea is also almost on it's peak will show them soon even though I have posted them in previous years.

I also have a saucer magnolia "Susan" and yellow "Elizabeth", but they do not bloom yet.

Yes i have Susan but no yellow I did buy one but lost it in the first winter also have a small one not flowered yet called 'Betty'

Yes I do wait for that one as it's always the first Magnolia to flower but this year only by a couple of days,strange spring every thing coming at once.
