Tiny Colchicum

It’s hard work to find anything to post an brighten the day,this one Colchicum Hungaricum is in the shelter of the Alpine house and doing its best,if it will open depends if the sun comes through.
Remember the covers I made last autumn for the Troughs outside they are now working well
They were meant to keep the rain off but are doing a fair job with the snow,one to the left is just a squirrel deterrent has no top.today we have a very slight thaw back below freezing now.

That is so lovely. Its a smashing colour. They make a good neighbour for the cyclamen leaves. Your hard work covering the troughs has been well rewarded. They look great.
