Last autumn I purchased a number plugs from the Channel Islands (not the ones i potted for the sister in law )these arrived a reasonable size for a plug and were planted in various places, and cursed throughout the winter as not a flower was to be seen.
A few weeks back however it was noticeable how fast they were developing and I now have a fine show and an impressive range of colours.Seem everything comes in its own good time. I should know that by now.

What lovely colours your pansies are - they are always such a joyous site. I did an embroidery of a basket of pansies once and it was such a pleasure to do because of the fact that they are so different and full of colour.

Enjoy yours - I hope they stay in flower for a good while - should do if they are dead-headed shouldn't they.

Och Bless you Sticki!! No honestly, some pansies do have a scent, only some colours though! So, the next time you see some in a gc, stick your wee nose in and see if any have a smell, they're gorgeous!
