Spring flowers

I have lots of bulbs flowering at the moment on my balcony, it’s a real picture!
Strictly speaking these first photos are from the first week in February this year!
I also have some lovely Violas that I have grown for the first time this year – they are really stunning & resist the wind far better than Pansies do, of which I have a goodly number each year with the exception of this year that is!
I must go out with the camera & take some more pics tomorrow as these are already 10 days old! I shall definitely grow a LOT more next year!!!

Did you make the window-box, Jac?
Yes, I agree about violas. I tend to grow them rather than pansies now, in the ground, anyway. Pansies seem better in containers for some reason..

I've added some more photos of Violas that I took this morning. There are even more flowers now as several weeks have gone by since I took the ones in this post.

I didnt make the Big Window Box Phil did as it was way 2 heavy for me to lift & attach to the Balcony Top safely Spritz it was a good 10ft Long & 6 Inches Deep Spritz :) I even had Solar Lites in it :)

Nice pics again Balcony. I too find viola's more wind resistant, my pansies have either not survived the winter or look really sad. But the viola's are amazing still!

Lovely flowers! I also tend to grow more violas than pansies - because of the wind. Your balcony would provide lots of colour for your street.
