Garden Tour

We were outside doing a bit of dividing and planting yesterday. My DH got camera happy and took some photos that he called a “garden tour for your GoY friends”. He didn’t get all of the beds, but a good deal. Look at all the bare spots… patiently awaiting some new plants and to fill in with some old:)

Pictures of the front of the house. The bed to the right will be full of hostas in a couple weeks.

It’s budding beautifully. Will be in full bloom soon :)

Keep climbing sweet autumn!

Welcome to the backyard :)

Rhod in bloom.

Pear tree and cherry bush to the left.

Covered the ugly patio with some rugs yesterday. Plan on getting a few more colors later :)

Raised beds, lots of opportunity still awaiting.

Newly planted tomato plants.

Another angle view of the patio.

Pretty bulbs :)

That’s the end of the garden tour. Brought to you by my hubby, Ben :)

Thanks for all the lovely comments :) Ben and I both enjoyed them.

Stroller, the curves are a new feature this year and I am enjoying them quite a bit. Glad you like them too.

TT, your garden puts mine to shame ;) Maybe someday mine will be as full as yours.. probably years from now...

Ann, thanks for the comment on the house. We've grown to call it a home after the last 3 years... the garden helps! The blank comment didn't show on my end, no worries :)

Sanbaz, his pics are usually blurry, but he did well this time, huh?! :D haha.

Marie, can't wait for it to fill in... happy gardening, indeed!

Marshmallow, I can't stay out of the yard. It's still got a LONG way to go. I'm on GoY daily, so you'll all probably be tired of my pics long b4 a couple months from now. hahaha.

Thanks again everyone for the moral boost and gardening confidence!

Lovely photos, tell your DH thanks for being camera happy, I enjoyed the tour! Can't wait to see the Hosta's

Ladybug - the idea is free to take. It isn't done. Ben buys about 5 pavers/bricks each time we go to lowes. It's his cheap way of getting it done. piece by piece. haha.

Helen - thanks for the comment. Ben was happy to see it. But when he read it to me aloud, it was slightly altered: "Lovely photos, tell your super cool, awesome husband....." LOL. I'll definitely post picks of the hostas. We split a few of them last year, so I'm curious to see how they fill out this year.

LOL! I'm sure Ben is all of these things! The hosta's should really grow better after being split. Which reminds me, must get some garlic to plant beside my hostas, maybe that will keep down the pest attacks. I know a garlic tea can be made and sprayed on some plants, but not sure about that spray for hosta's! I'm not keen on the smell at all! These sprays work because aphids and others, taste with their feet, they can't recognise the leaves their looking for becuase of the garlic,or other sprays used. Clever little devils aren't they!
