For my British friends who havn't seen much sun lately

I took these photo’s at 8.30pm as the last of the suns rays were dying. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. The weather was wonderful, the temparature being only 26 C. The rest of the coming week is forecast to be mid 30’s so not so comfortable, but today was ideal.
We didn’t do too much. Went to church, came home for lunch, sat in the garden, pottered a bit. I planted a Clematis, I read my AG mag and lo and behold the day was gone (I think I dozed in the shade of the old walnut tree)
Less of this boring reverie: here’s the pics:-

What is all that about? My grass is getting too long, and have not been able to stay out there for more than a few minutes, the weeds are having a great time spreading.

Thankyou Chris I enjoyed looking at your photos. The weather is horrible here . 26 C sounds just right to me. Glad you enjoyed your day.

lovely pics, Chris , it,s nice to hear about sunshine and that it does exist , I was beginning to think it was a figment of my imagination .

But one good thing about this un-sunny summer is that I don't have to struggle with Blodyn to put cream on her white ears. She hates it and wriggles about so much that I end up with more cream on me and over her fur than there is on her ears. lol. Well there's been none of that performance this year.

At this moment Chrspook, its dry, but RAIN this afternoon,
so i've been charging around like a mad thing trying to move a 4foot by 3foot plastic greenhouse, which sounds easy, NOT! when its as windy as it is, if you see something resembling a greenhouse with something hanging on to it,
fly over your house its ONLY MEEEEE, LOL
