Truffle looks like he really enjoyed his cake. Im very impressed he managed to share a piece with Conker. My dog Indi is a real chocoholic. I usually buy her a chocolate cake for her birthday, but she of course doesnt get all of it! I think I will try a special doggy cake next time. She is sooooo naughty, already woofed down a whole box of Lindt chocolates that were given to me as a present... The smell was too much for her, came back to find package ripped open and everything eaten, wrappers, box the lot!! Have a lovely Christmas!

I've decided to just add a quick reminder here for GoYers that chocolate can be very harmful to dogs and cats ...

... so it's a good idea to keep them away from chocolate over Christmas and any time .. the darker the chocolate the more harmful it can be ...

So pleased you pointed that out Terra. We would never knowingly give our dogs chocolate. - She decides to help herself! (shes quite determined at times) It did have a weird effect on her when she was younger (she went really hyper!) I will make sure there are no more presents under the tree that she may take a fancy to!
If we lived a bit nearer Truffle and Conker could come and share a piece of doggy cake.

Yes, it is very difficult putting everything out of reach of an inquisitive dog or cat ... I can imagine our pets all sharing doggie cake together... chaos but bliss ! :o))) Lol.
