New purchase

We went to Otter Nurseries , Ottery St Mary today and bought this :-

I’m hoping the bigger birds won’t go in it, as I can feed them on the ground which will give the smaller ones a chance.
Still a few more leaves left on the walnut tree, I raked up loads yesterday :-

Even all the other trees have loads :-

This little Hebe looking good I think its Frozen Flame :-

Cold wind today though :-

That's a nice bird table Roy. I get worried about the smaller birds not getting their fair share too.
You've got smashing open views there - it must look wonderful with a sprinkling of snow.

Thank-you Scottish we do tend to get a lot of pigeons and jackdaws so I'm hoping they may feel trapped in this one, Roy.

Thank-you Sandra and Stripes the walnut tree is actually outside our boundary but overhangs us, yeah we get loads of walnuts but someone told us they're called wet nuts and they don't store, so you have to eat them straight away or pickle them which we've never done. Apparently they're quite a delicacy pickled.

Thank-you Hywel we actually live in a small town down a no through road and Tescos is only 3 mins walk away so can't be bad, with an outlook like ours.

Always love seeing your garden and views Roy? I bet those leaves were all off a while ago now, but wasn't November a stunner? I fear we are paying for it now though...brrr...:) Happy Christmas!
