Can I grow cherry or plum tree in a North-facing plot that gets a lot of shade,or do they need full sun?

slightly alkaline soil where deadnettle(Lamium) and Aquilegia grow as weeds!!

Dont think you will get much flower or fruit from a cherry tree in this aspect Naki. they do need a warm south or west position
