AFTER Taking the bull by the horns!!

. I posted a blog on 2nd Jan about moving my apple trees and plum trees which I had re-sited about the 3rd week in December. I`m that excited because the plum trees which I moved to grow up an arch seemed to have survived the shock .
As you can see here they are in blossom,

Again in close up.

The apple trees I espaliered are just breaking into bud.

All looks as if its going according to plan, I wonder if I will get any fruit this year.

I think seeings how you moved the trees your crop want be as much as you would like this year, but after they recover, next years crop, should be more plentiful. I could be wrong though. Mother nature does her own thing as we all know,

You are so clever, wish I could espalier my youngest cherry tree without killing it. Mine will just have to do there own thing. You have lots of blossom so they must like where you have put them.

Homebird it was just a case of trial and error, so I am pleased that it turned out all right.

What luck - you obviously moved them at just the right time.

Let's hope you have loads of fruit on them.
