peppers better in pots or borders in polytunnel

would i be better to put my peppers in pots or borders
of my polytunnel would i be able to control their feeding and watering better how far will their roots grow ie what size of pots

I have grown them in tomato pots that are about a small bucket size and in the soil direct [in the green house] and they have a slightly smaller root system than the tomato.

it is personal preference. If I have a lot to go in the ground the peppers go in pots on the staging.

so not that much help really :o) they are not as greedy as tomatoes in my experience.

If growing in pots, ones of c.10" diameter are the ideal size.
