I have got some carrot seeds in a raised bed on my allotment I have purchased some enviro mesh and think it would be a good idea to construct a hinge frame for the mesh to sit on the bed what sort of height does the carrot foliage grow so I can build the frame accordingly

Gosh, MG, your carrots would have to be very healthy to grow that high! (Mind you, yours probably ARE) Mine have never topped 20cms.

Depending on he variety anything up to 30cm
