Could anyone tell me the name of this bush. It flowers red throughout the summer months and doesn't seem to spread. I'd like to put one in my garden

I think it would also help us to know where you are in the world - there are obviously different species growing in some countries that don't in others, if that makes sense?

kind of difficult to give a positive id without a closeup of the leaves, flowers or berries to compare... that would help.
