i have a red irsh cactus just one will other ones start to grow or just that one

Yep! Little "pups" will start to show at the base once the plant is more than 6 inches tall. Remember to give it plenty of light, including some direct morning sun, water it when the soil is completely dry, but before the stem starts to shrivel, and feed it 1/4 strength complete ferilizer every 4th watering.
