A nice bamboo phylostachys aurea in that corner will look great against the white wall, it’s a clumper so won’t run, the effect will be great, in front of bamboo a nice half tree log with that hosta sitting on top, to the side a lovely physocarpus with copper foliage the yellow leaved form further to the right, and in front of bamboo and feature log a small compact ceanothus, and agree with sea burn girl a euonymus you can allow this to scramble up through the bamboo, but not too much, it’s a great effect, it’s only a small corner so the plants would need pruning to keep it looking balanced, you could put a outdoor light in the bed which makes the bamboo stand out in the night.

Much as I like bamboos, Phyllostachys plants (including aurea) can run if they like their spot.

(If Chusquea - don't get Chusquea gigantea - too big and it is flowering in many places, including my garden.)
How about Fargesia?

if it is shady then some of the larger evergreen ferns would be good in there. as would sarcococca which is evergreen with winter flowers and fragrance. then a small holly, pittosporum, euonymus [variegated forms available too] would also do ok there.
