my acanthus mollis has been in place for 3 years, it was flowing when i biught it, but dipite huge glossy leaves it will not flower. It is on a west facing wall.Why?

Hi Bilgemates and welcome to GoY. You say it is 'on' a west facing wall do you mean near or in front of? This is a plant from the Mediterranean and needs to be in full sun to semi-shade happy in poor soil conditions. A plant for the back of your perennial border.
