If it says a strawberry plant produces 7 flushes per year july to nov, does this mean it will produce 7 lots of flowers.

I have had my two runners pin'd down for five weeks now and there are roots coming through the bottom of the plant pot out of the drain holes and have for leaf shoots on both with two more on each starting to grow, when should i cut them from the main plant.
