I have planted 2 large "Pink Panther" plants on a well drained slope in Woodinvillle, Wa for 2 years in a row and they have died during the winter months. Why are they not making it through the winter?

There are several plants with the varietal name of 'Pink Panther', Shelby, for instance Phormium 'Pink Panther', Agastache and so on - we need the proper name of the plant you have.
