Black Hamburg is still one of the best varieties for indoor use although it does suffer from mildew if not treated and good aeration maintained. Still a wonderful grape for eating though.
Outside there are various good varieties, and I'd recommend 'Pied de Perdrix' a small yellow grape, which I'm told is a synonym for a variety called Malbec.
