This is my bottle brush plant, doesn't look too good does it? I think it needs cutting right back but how much can I cut it and when should I do it?

Hi, these are normally pruned after flowering, but not hard pruning, however they can sometimes be damaged by frost, and appear to be dead, but then start to send up new shoots, I would try removing some of the larger, thicker branches, and prune the others to the shape you want, hopefully it will start to produce shoots lower down the main stem, Derek.

Thank you Derek, I will do that when the few flowers that I have are finished.

How do I say thanks?
