Please help identify this plant

By Romneya

Angus, Scotland Sco

It flowered in May/June with pink flowers. It is about 4 - 5 feet tall. the leaves are a crisp green that smalls like newly cut lettuce. The stems are noticeablely red. The seed germinated very easily so it may be a weed.

Really sorry - not a familiar one, but I'm sure that someone will recognise it from this photo!

Looks almost like some sort of Valeriana, perhaps V. officinalis?

The leaves look to be in pairs up the stem?

I've changed to the species Valeriana pyrenaica as this has more the leaf shape of yours.
