Yellow Eggs On My Primo & Chinese Cabbages
Asked by Sodapopklc on 15 Jul, 2007
I'm growing primo and chinese cabbage for the 1st time ever, and have noticed that on the under leaf of 4 cabbages there's tiny yellow eggs, they are perfectly shaped together in very neat clusters, can anyone please tell me what's laying them?
Thank you :-)

Thanx I'll pop some netting on tonight, don't want them to get munched on anymore.

Probably cabbage white butterfly eggs which will turn into caterpillars and shred the leaves. Squash the eggs and if you know any children offer a reward for the caterpillars they find, children have sharp eyes! Prevention is netting, and companion planting with nasturtiums to fool the butterflies. .
