clean up time (Phormium purpurea (New Zealand Flax))

cleaning dead leaves off my newzealand fax (phormium).
ready for puttiing out into my gravel garden.
II put them into pockets in the gravel leaving them in the pots.

How often do you re-pot them? They are looking really good.

i will split them when they get pot bound
i have to keep that size of pot to fit pockets in gravel garden bm

Mostly dead around here, I am afraid. They do not like -10C.
