thanks Janette, must admit tulips are one of my favorites, but i do like things that are a little bit different, although i have still found some space for some bright red ones! - as tulips should be!

thanks ladies, and it is a bit of a surprize as the pack pic, was red and white, and i did'nt realise that it would be so small - but a very nice suprize never the less. to be honest if i did'nt know better i would think it is a crocus rather than a tulip, - its that sort of size and looks like one when open!

Bowl-shaped later star shaped flowers with rounded base but quite thin and pointed apperance before opening fully. approx 20cm high.
bought them from little flower shop in collier row for a pound - bargin! and i have planted them in red & blue bed at the far left hand corner of the garden around the blue oat grass.
