I know when I bought it several years ago the spike said something primrose but I don't remember the exact name and can't find the label. You are probably right. I like having a posh plant at my front door!

You know what Sarah i think this is an Auriculas - related to Primula - but a bit more posh! very popular with the victorians i believe!
