Solomon's Seal slowly taking over the end of the left hand border, very pretty while in flower, but a bit dull after that. Supposed to like moist, shadey area, but in my garden out in full sun alongside a privet hedge that takes all the water. Is horribly

I understand what you mean Andrew when you say this does too well in some places. I moved this plant a couple of years ago to a shady area overrun with vinca, totally ignored it and it comes up all the same. In fact some of it still appears in the original location, even though it has to immerge from under a layer of plastic, gravel and 3 concrete stepping blocks.
